The Epson Expression 11000XL is a flatbed A3 graphics scanner with a scanning resolution of 2,400 dpi x 4,800 dpi (Horizontal x Vertical), an optical density of 3.8 Dmax and a scanning range of 310 mm x 437 mm (Horizontal x Vertical) allowing for the following paper formats: A3, A4, A5, B4, B5. The Epson Expression 11000XL scanner comes with a USB 2.0 Type B connection for fast and highly compatible connectivity to PCs running Windows XP through to the latest Windows 8 O/S and on Apple Mac O/S from v10.5.8 or later.

The Epson 11000XL flatbed scanner has a Xenon fluorescent lamp light source, a colour depth input/output of 16 Bits Colour and a scanning speed of 7 seconds-per-page (2.7ms/row) in monochrome and 8ms/row in colour.
